Frandsen Finishes 100 Town Hall Meetings

Record Number of Forums in Region

Temecula, CA - Grey Frandsen, Democratic Candidate for Assembly District 66, finished his 100th town hall meeting on Sunday, October 26, 2008, in Julian, California. This is in addition to approximately 20 fundraisers and other events held by the campaign.

On the completion, Frandsen said:

"This entire process was amazing. We met thousands of people, traveled literally thousands of miles, and shared our ideas and concerns with voters of every type, shape, size, and party. Most importantly, we listened. I can now say one thing: I have the pulse of this District."

Frandsen's town hall meetings were held in homes, parks, union halls, small businesses, schools, festivals, and a range of other places. You can view the list of town hall meetings online: http://www.frandsen2008.com.

Allison Dale, the Frandsen 2008 campaign manager, joked by saying "we all knew Grey was a little crazy making this pledge. But seriously, while it was tough to plan, coordinate, set up, etc., the results were fantastic. People really enjoyed meeting Grey in an old-fashioned forum to share ideas. We'd do it all over again if we could."

The campaign will be holding more town hall meetings with the Mobile Town Hall Unit before November 4th.
Supported by Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, Frandsen is running an issue-oriented campaign that is focused on the needs of working families throughout District 66
