A local of Riverside, California, Grey Frandsen, his wife Lindsey, and their two children, Sally (4) and Brooks (1), settled back into Temecula, CA after being based in Washington, DC for six years while serving with the U.S. Government. Grey served two U.S. Secretaries of State with distinction and U.S. Senator Russ Feingold in the United States Senate before returning home to Riverside County. Grey is now the CEO and a co-owner of Magnolia Pool and Spa Supply, a company based in Riverside, CA with locations throughout Southern California. Grey graduated magna cum laude from UCLA and obtained his graduate degree in foreign policy at Johns Hopkins University. He attended Riverside Poly High School and Riverside Community College. Mr. Frandsen has a proven track record of success and innovation in the private sector and in the national security arena and is a dedicated public servant. While in Washington, Grey served as United States Senator Russell Feingold’s chief foreign policy advisor. In that capacity, Grey helped shape a range of national security-related initiatives relating stabilization and reconstruction operations, reconstruction oversight in Iraq, counter-terrorism strategies, and new and emerging threats. Prior to his service in the Senate, he served both Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice as the Special Assistant/Chief of Staff of the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Reconstruction and Stabilization, President George W. Bush’s initiative focused on preparing for, planning, and managing U.S. Government operations in conflict and post-conflict operations. During his Federal service, he traveled and worked around the world. He received the U.S. Department of State’s Meritorious and Superior Group Honor Awards and was awarded a Presidential Management Fellowship. Grey was born in Seattle, Washington, to Paul and Sharon Frandsen. He is a third-generation public servant and a product of public schools. Grey and his family are Christians and attend church in Temecula. Aside from precious time with his family, Grey enjoys running marathons and racing road bikes. Grey is a member of the Pacific Council on International Affairs, was a delegate to the American Academy of Achievement in 2003, and was the Graduate Student Associaton President at the Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies. Lindsey Frandsen is a stay-at-home mother and the CEO of the Frandsen family. While in Washington, she served under President George W. Bush in the White House. |
